Review: My go-to for pain relief - I get cheek bites because of my wisdom tooth at least twice a year and this helps a lot to reduce the got awful pain. I only wish it lasted longer !! The good thing is the result is immediate upon application but it only last for like 10 minutes or so depends on the amount you apply could be more . Still better than nothing ! Without this I wouldnt be able to even take a single bite of food or sip of a drink .

**Q: When will my canker sore go away?**
A: The pain will get better, temporarily, but will recur as long as the canker is active.  Ambesol, a preparation of benzocaine, is an analgesic, not an antiviral agent.  It does not promote healing of the canker or any other infection: it reliefs the pain caused by the infection.  You will need to re-apply this for persistent/recurrent pain according to the instructions provided with the product.

**Q: Is this product mint flavored?**
A: No it is not mint flavored.

**Q: What do you use to apply this gel?  Wou!d a Qtip work?  Thanks.**
A: Yes, a Q-tip is fine to use. You can squeeze a dab of the gel to the tip and directly apply it to your mouth sore or tongue sore. You can also apply it directly from the tube onto the sore. That's much easier and is what I do.  Since I don't share my tube with anyone else there is no problem of contamination. I also take a Q-tip or piece of tissue and pat the sore to dry it a little before applying the Anbesol. In that way the gel works better and stays on the sore longer. 
Ambusol works very well to dull the annoying pain!

**Q: Why do you take one to two months to ship?**
A: I personally have not had this issue. One to four days has been my experience. And, Amazon does keep you up to date if there are any delays.

Instant relief. Easy to apply and not too bad tasting. I prefer the gel to liquid for targeting the area of pain. Works well on gums and tooth surfaces.
