Make sure wires are matched up to outlet wires or you get a flicker.
These lights are very bright. If you are looking for “mood” lights, consider a strip with fewer bulbs. I am using for under the kick plate night light in a bathroom. They work fine.....almost too bright. They have double sided tape or one screw clips as installation options. I used the tape on one and it worked. On the other I used the clips. Easy, quick install. You do need a step down transformer if you are installing new and not replacement 12 volt lights.

Did not work out of the box
Wired correctly to 12V boat lighting system. Red positive, black negative just like it says on the box. Nothing. Not even a glimmer.
