Lego Queen Annes Revenge
This is all my grandson talked about before Christmas. So we got it for him. Just the excitement when he opened it was worth every penny spent. He is eight years old and sat with his Grandpa and the two of them had a lot of fun putting it together. Grandpa helped him find the pieces, all 1074 on the table. It was an enjoyable experience ordering on line. Communication with Amazon them was great. Kept us notified promptly of receipt of order, when shipped and tracking number and we actually received the product before the quoted delivery time. Lego's Queen Annes revenge is a beautiful ship . The intricate details of the ship and pirates were amazing. The red sails were just as the pictured showed on the box. It was so nice and he had so much fun that we ordered the Black Pearl for his birthday. It was a wonderful experience all around, Thank You!

Just the right amount of difficulty for a ten year old
I am a great Lego fan since childhood, and so is my ten year old son, but let's be honest, Lego constructions don't look very realistic.....however, this one, after my son had completed it all by himself, starting right after it had reached my home, looks like a model ship that you could put in your showcase -- you have to get quite close to see its a Lego product, and even that its the little figures that give it away. The difficulty level was just right for my ten year old, who tends to be on the hyper-active side, and has some issues with attention span -- to see him focus and finish the whole construction in one sitting was amazing (if you have a hyoper-active child, you will know what I am talking about). After seeing his concentration, I placed an order for the The Black Pearl, which was also great -- the two ships now have pride of place in his Lego collectuion.

beautiful set
My almost 7-year old nephew is an avid LEGO builder. He was estatic when he got this set for Christmas 2011 and he couldn't wait to start building the ship. With over 1,000 pieces, I though he would definitely need help, but it turned out he did it all by himself. It took him a whole day to finish and we had to force him to take breaks in between. The ship is big and the details are incredible. It's now on display in his room. My nephew is a very experienced LEGO builder, but at times he was frustrated with some of the more difficult steps. We just told him to take a break, then come back to tackle it again. It was fun watching him putting this beautiful ship together. This set is not for beginners and it takes patience.

Impressive looking
I got this ship for my 12 year old son for Christmas. He has built many Legos before and seemed to enjoy building this one as much as all the rest. I don't know if it's the size, the detail, or just that the subject is a little more mature, but we think it is very impressive looking. It's very nice looking from the back and front. The sails are nice and the windows, skull railing, and lantern in the back all add a creepy kind of elegance to it. We will, definitly, find a prominent place in his room to display it.

Other Sets are More Entertaining
Lego does things right---usually. This set is no exception to that rule, but the assembly is not as much fun as other Lego products and can be somewhat monotonous at times. For a child playing with the set it could be aggravating as numerous small parts---particularly in the rigging---easily pop off when touched or brushed against. Access to the Captains quarters/office also tends to be less than ideal with small parts falling off when doing so. A nice set, great subject matter, and makes a nice display of sorts. But offers a bit less than other sets of similar cost.

QUENN ANNE'S REVENGE BY LEGO
I bought this set for my grandson, and it's Lego. What more can be said of the quality. It is the top of the line and worth the cost. I helped him assemble the item and we both had a great time. As with all Lego products, the instructions are simple, the parts all fit, and in every package, there are unique pieces that fascinate me. If you are not a Lego fan, you might check them out. They are not the Legos of you childhood, if your childhood goes back to the 60's.

Does not meet description
The description for the product was suppose to be 99.0% complete. When I was assembling the set major details were missing, this set felt more like 91% complete.

Fun to build
These are a lot of fun to build with my daughter. She is 9 and really enjoys sitting down together and spending some time. It's great because we do a small section at a time, and it takes several days to take shape. It's also an excellent excercise in attention to detail, and being patient and precise. The instructions and the organized way these products are presented is just amazingly well done.
