Especially when the sky is overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves the energy yield by up to 30% compared to pulse width modulation (PWM) charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. Load output: overloading the battery can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output. The load output separates the loads when the battery has been discharged to a specified voltage value. Alternatively, you can also choose an algorithm for intelligent battery management: see BatteryLife. The load output is short-circuit protected. Some loads (especially inverters) are best connected directly to the battery. The inverter remote control is best connected to the load output. I do like the victron software however since this isn't the Bluetooth version it requires an adittional cable to connect it. I am having issues trying to update the firmware and the software seems to be erasing any data past 2 days old so for that reason I've dropped a star.
