How to tell which one is for you?** A: I got the blue and it has been fine. Medium hard. So I do 40 reps. It seems fairly easy to ramp the intensity up or down by varying the reps. Green or blue probably doesn't matter much; just vary the reps. **Q: What does the material feel like? I'm looking for a play dough type feel** A: I've been using the blue egg for about a year now. It does not have a play doh feel to it. I think its a little tougher than what a " regular" stress ball would be. The green egg is supposed to be softer than the blue one. I dont have the green one though so i cant say from experience. I bought the blue egg to warm up my hands and forearms for very heavy grip training. My goal is to close the captains of crush #3 gripper sold by iron mind. I currently do my work sets on the #2 and the #2.5 which yeild roughly 200 and 240 lbs of resistance respectively. The blue egg is a serious grip training tool. Hence the quite high price tag relative to other stress ball type grip tools. If you are looking for something squishy like play doh this is not it. The blue egg would be exellent for rehabilitating the hands and wrists after injury, entry level grip training, or advanced warm ups and active rest in my opinion. **Q: Is this item significantly more helpful than a racquetball?** A: Dear Sir:Many thanks for your inquiry. Clean surface with warm water and mild soap-do not immerse or soak the IronMind EGG in water. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.2. Wipe lightly with alcohol (do not soak the IronMind EGG). Air dry.Finally, as noted in the directions that accompanied your IronMind EGG, it has been dusted with talcum powder to reduce stickiness.
