I don't believe they provide UV protection. They're excellent, acid-free bags, and serve that purpose very well. The manufacturer does not mention any UV info in the product descriptions. But for safe, acid-free storage, these are excellent!

Will these fit mad magazines and old sports illustrated magazines with the boards in them as well?

Muy recomendables si tienes comics, novelas gráficas o bien incluso mangas de precio alto( no pasta dura) sirven para comics tamaño standar, uno que otro ómnibus (no más de 200 páginas) y para mangas van sobradas. Si sabes forrar los excesos quedan muy bonitos y protegidos tus comics de monas chinas, ya que si son más gruesas que una bolsita de celofán.

i liked these magazines bag. They fit perfectly with BCW backing boards... but these are not self sealing bags. I've used them to archived. .. Star Trek magazines, Animerica and some extremely odd sized comics graphics novels.
