A: yes it has a swivel and you don't have to rotated your arm, I am happy with my purchase don't hesitate.

A: Yeah the component with the trigger/string release rotates 360 degrees. Should work for both hands.

**Q: what's the maximum draw weight this release can handle?**
A: Description of product says they test it at 200 lbs. for 20,000 draws/cycles.

**Q: what is this used for?**
A: Releasing a string on a bow. Works like a trigger on a gun as opposed to the traditional methods of releasing a string such as bare handed, thumb release, with a tab or shooting glove.
