Some of the pieces arrived a bit bent but they assembled ok. The material was pretty sturdy, like thick compressed felt. There were no instructions so I had to come back here and look at the product images to assemble. I had a few extra pieces, like the “Y” shaped ones and a few rings but I was able to build all 6 lanterns fine. The first one with gold glitter took me about 15 minutes, the second one/the oval shaped one was a bit easier to build. Instead of having a coin design for the bottom I received the “fu” word instead which I think looks better and I also got the knot design to hang on the end. The last lantern that looks the most intricate was the easiest to make! I recommend these, they were fun to assemble and look great!

Very nice but can be tedious to put together! Instructions are not helpful.

I was tired of the paper decorations that only lasted a year and looked cheap. These lovely lanterns are beautiful, and will last a few years. They were also a great DIY craft project for my kids, 11 and 13. Easy for them to put together with the picture directions on Amazon. Beautiful red, and good size.

Need to follow the instructions on the sales page pretty closely to assemble the pieces. The thicker lantern has the least steps but it was harder to put together because the material was more rigid. Need a pair of scissors on hand to cut the connected areas to separate pieces before assembly. Came out very pleasing overall.

It's impossible to assemble these lanterns. The instructions are useless. What a waste of money!

You have to know to go back to Amazon for the instructions. Once you put it together it looks beautiful!

I didn't realize when I purchased that it was just a bunch of Die-cut felt pieces. I should have looked at the pictures closer. so far I have only managed to assemble one. I thought they were more like the typical that unfold or expand. Unless you plan on having a family night assembling a jig saw puzzle I can't recommend them. To be fair, if I had looked/read closely, I would have realized they needed to be assembled.

The colors are vibrant. Perfect for my book club party ! Took quite a while to figure out how to assemble them which was not good. About 30 different parts to mismatch or just throw together as you wished! Gave part of this mess away to Goodwill.
