Stylish - good quality - good value

I purchased this as I'm as "blind as a bat" and this watch has a nice big face and clear numbers. The strap is really good quality and also fits my small wrist without me having to add more holes. I thought the strap would be itchy or rub because of its thickness however this has not been the case. Its really comfortable and I forget that I'm wearing it most of the time. Only had the watch a short while and it does appear to keep good time. The only downside is the fact that the watch has no luminosity in the dark which is disappointing but in my case, not what I bought it for. I do feel that this watch is good value for money.

Needed a tough watch for work as I have broken a couple of fitbits and another Smart-ish watch. Could pay a lot for watches advertised as tough with no guarantee that they are any different from their cheaper cousins. Opted for cheap with a clear analog dial and webbing strap. Paid less for the watch than for a strap for my last watch so if it gets broken I’ll get another. Keeping good time so far and I don’t need to fiddle with it (which means removing gloves) just to see the time

This watch is being sent back to the bowel of watch purgatory. I have another BiDen, that's fine, but this one being reviewed here is absolute junk! Before anyone says that it wasn't exactly expensive, true enough, but a since watch head isn't acceptable and is known to cause skin problems, such as the contact burns that it caused on my wrist. OK, so the cashback states stainless steel, but it is in fact not. It's marginally less worrying than the metallurgy of the case, but stainless? No. That cashback is also made to look like a screwdown type, but the tool notches are for effect, the case being a clip on type with a case knife slot. Even at the very low price, the production cost of cutting a thread into the perimeter of the case back would be unlikely to be greater than making the knife slot and machining the pointless (no thread so no need) notches for a case back tool, so it's all just borst, even the 50m water resistance figure on the watch is meaningless where a back cover has a knife slot through it for removal! Interestingly, the description on the listing comes slightly closer to truth when it states a WR figure of 30m (splashproof at best, but probably not that much here, given the entire watches deviation from its description! I had thought about keeping the watch and using its 22mm nylon strap on another watch, but the strap on my example is of very poor quality with glue only applied at the end of the 6 o' clock half of the strap whereas the 12o' clock part is stitched around its entire perimeter. No glue there but an odd discrepancy at best. So, do I recommend that you buy one? Er, no, not likely, not if every other watch in the world disappeared overnight. I would say that you get what you pay for, but my other BiDen cost under £10 and it's al lovely, reliable little piece so perhaps build quality is just massively variable which would explain not only the positive reviews, but may also suggest that, when considering buying one of these BiDen watches either don't bother or do and hope that you receive one of the good examples. Also, consider that many, even most, of the watches made in China are very good, inexpensive and clearly built with pride by watchmakers but even the best manufacturer can have a bad day. The watch has two good points though; it's a good looking little field watch in my opinion and better still; it actually has decent lune on both the hands And the hour markers! OK, so it wont light up a room, but my otherwise poor example couldn't be criticised for that lume. So my score: two good points vs eight less than acceptable means that I've been right to give it one star. Biden, you can do much, much better than this even at this low price, please don't give up, you need to look at build quality though and doing so would work wonders. Thanks for reading, Jaye ××

I wanted a no thrills "dumb" watch and this works perfectly. Doesnt feel like it's about to fall apart on me and keeps time well. No issues with the look and feel (doesn't feel light or cheap despite the price tag). Absolutely no complaints at the price I bought it for.

This watch is as good looking as many more expensive ones. It keeps very good time, is easy to read from all angles, and is still luminous by the end of the night. A minor issue for me is the strap is longer than my other ones so the retaining buckles could be a litle further apart. I guess I've got a slim wrist. A great buy.

Ero partito scettico, ma devo ricredermi. Per essere una cinesata sono rimasto stupefatto dalla qualità costruttiva. Solido, pesante il giusto, con un bellissimo centurino di nylon molto morbido e comodo. La precisione dopo qualche giorno mi sembra ottima e il look è davvero eccezionale. A questo prezzo sono pienamente soddisfatto. La visibilità del quadrante è spettacolare, e ha persino un datario funzionante. Militare o meno, è il mio nuovo compagno di passeggiate.
