Is this compatible with an analogue device such as a turntable?

Yes this would be an excellent cable for turntable use...The capacitance is low and the shielding is very good, which is what you should look for in a turntable cable. I would say these are better than the FosPower audio cables for that use. Of course you would have to buy two and it will cost more. I bought Fospower component audio video cables to use on my CD player many years ago... and they are still my preferred cables for the CD player. They replaced a pair of monster cables and I felt they were a better fit and produced better sound on CD than the monster cables. I tried many different cables on the CD player and none beat the Monster cables until I tried the Fos Power audio video component cables...
