Making a custom guarded rocker switch
Factory blue Seas control switch in original Factory blue Seas Packaging for practically half the price. I needed a protected rocker switch for a normal and sleep mode circuit being added to my electric car, saving energy if it is idle. These switches are basically single pole on off. I needed a double pole on off with a rocker guard. I ordered a blue seas 7934 double pole on off rocker switch, opened both switches and moved the double pole base and switches to the guarded rocker operator top assy, leaving out the lamp interconnect Springs as one side of my switch would be operating a 72 volt circuit precharge. The other side shuts off a 12v control system backup battery. Snapped it back together and employed it in the vehicle. Flawless and a rocker guard, I couldn't ask for more. I'll likely order a second to 7934 to prefit the extra guarded rocker switch I purchased as a spare for the vehicle.

For mission critical projects you just have to go with Blue Sea. This is no exception. I'm using it for charging coach battery with alternator
