REVOLUTIONARY product: from a skeptic to an enthusiastic fan!
I first saw an ad for this product on YouTube and was impressed by dramatic results. My eyelids have always been a little droopy, but that did not bother me much until maybe a year ago (I am 44 now), when I started noticing more eyelid droopiness on my photographs, which was, obviously, upsetting. As this product is quite expensive, I read reviews, both positive and negative ones, prior to purchasing the variety pack (4-7 mm). The results I've seen on photos posted by successful users prompted me to go ahead and purchase. It's been a week since I got the package and I tried all the sizes. My impressions are below. I will also post my take on some of the negative comments I read here. - First, and most importantly, the strips DO WORK! I am very pleased with the results. The overal result is a fresh, rested look for the eyes. When the eyelid is elevated it also softens the gaze. I could not stop looking at my eyes in the mirror! I also FaceTimed my mother, and she was equally impressed and purchased the strips as well. - For new users, like myself, I strongly suggest purchasing the variety pack. I started with a 7 mm strip, but then discovered that 4 mm gives me the optimal balance of result vs daily wear comfort. I may use bigger size strips for going out or for any occasion where I may be photographed. - Regarding the comment that "strips are visible." I think this depends on the skin tone. I am light-skinned and I can hardly see them. I apply the strips to clean dry eyelids and then apply pastel eyeshadow over, and it works very well. I'd probably avoid dark eyeshadows when using these strips. - Regarding the comments that "strips are hard to use, uncomfortable and do not yield good results." I disagree with the hard to use part. Gently lift the strip by the very edge (do not apply too much force to the plastic forcep), the strips are sticky enough that they attach to one forcep tip, so you don't need to hold the forceps squeezed. Importantly, do not attempt to hold your mirror and apply the strips at the same time; use a good standing mirror. If the strips are uncomfortable and do not work as expected you are probably 1) using the wrong size 2) not applying them properly. The strip should not be too close to the eyelid edge (allow for a few mm away), and not too close to outer edges of eyelids, or your eyes will feel "sticky." First, open/close the eye and observe where the fold forms (somewhere in the middle of the eyelid). Then peel off the strip and apply right over where the fold is expected (this is why you need both hands when applying the strips). Once the strip is attached, run your finger over it to smoothen it out. For the "uncomfortable" comment part, I did feel the large-sized strips, to the point where they gave me a headache. Thus, I imagine wearing them only for a short period of time, and only if needed. I am much more comfortable wearing 4 mm, which I anticipate may become a part of my daily routine along with eye makeup. -Regarding the comment that "strips are difficult to remove." I suggest not rushing the process of strip removal, and avoid pinching the eyelids. I always remove the strips by their corners. I hope this helps. I do love this product, especially becasue I am not brave enough to consider eyelid surgery and because I LOVE how these strips make my eyes look. Highly recommend.

Works but is very visible
So realistically I would not buy this if you think it will be hidden. It does help with hooded eye but if you close your eyes you can def see it. It doesn't hide any better over make up. I wasted alot in the beginning figuring where to place them on my lid. As I said, it does help if you have an issue but it does not conceal for me to wear out going somewhere. Or where I will close my eyes close to someone.

They work but…
Sorry for the lengthy review but there’s a lot to be said about these so please bear with me. I’ve always had heavy droopy eyelids but they’ve gotten significantly worse as I age. Saw these on an online ad (on Instagram I think) and took a chance ordering the 7 mm Lids 80 pack. 7mm is for those who have a lot of excess eyelid skin. They are much bigger than the smaller ones so keep that in mind when you’re ordering. Especially the larger sizes as they’ll be more noticeable. It’s not as easy to place them as it looks. It depends where your eye folds down the most and you have to finagle the strip a little. You’ll have to be sure your eyelids are squeaky clean or they won’t adhere as well. The corners will lift if you use the tweezers there so I pick them up from the middle of the lid strip. Took about 4 strips on each eye to get it right. Or at least as right as I could. I took off a star because they aren’t easy to put on and need to include at least 4 practice strips. Like putting on false lashes, it takes time to learn what works best for you. Anyhow, as you can see it’s a very noticeable difference. I’ve got NO makeup on at all and these were taken minutes apart. Here’s where they lose another star: makeup. You can see them if you have eye makeup on, especially if it’s dark makeup. I tend to use lighter more neutral colors like pinks and beiges but people can still see the strips when you look down. Are they perfect? No. Do they stick well? Yes. Does it take a lot of practice to put them on? Yes. Are they worth the $35 compared to the other brands for $8? I haven’t tried the others but these look a LOT more transparent and not like mesh where you have to use adhesive. That’s why I went with these. So I would say worth the price difference. I’m forever trying wrinkle creams and serums so at $35 this wasn’t an expensive loss for me compared to all the other junk I bought that didn’t work. I’ll be working on ways to hide them a bit more and testing different eyeshadow methods and colors to see if it helps. What I did really like was that once positioned correctly, I couldn’t feel them. That was definitely a plus especially if you’re wearing them all day. Hope this helps!! Good luck!

Sólo las e probado 1 vez, no se notan nada, se siente un poquito raro al principio, pero te acostumbras. Todavía no sé cómo se verán con pintura en los ojos. Si hace su función de abrir el ojo, se ve menos pliegue en el parpado

The price is expensive , seems according to the fine cut and material used .. I have used others from China , they did the same job exactly, no difference, but those have many sizes to fit the needs, for me I know which size to use from other brands so I am fine with others.. at the end of the day , they are very good, but expensive !

I have tried multiple products on the market for my hooded eyes and can’t afford surgery. Either they didn’t stay on, or the colour, or size was incorrect!. My Beautician introduced me to taping about 8 months ago and I haven’t looked back. It’s been a game of trial and error. Trying nearly every product on the market for hooded eyes, without requiring surgery. I stumbled across the,”Lids By Design”, and they are my correct tape for my eyes. Sorry about the rushed photo and application of the tape,(usually you can’t notice the tape) but I thought at the last minute to post a before and after picture. Of course, I couldn’t get it exactly right, but I think from the picture that you can get the idea of the results? If I do it properly, no-one can see the tape.. As you can see my eyes(Left eye in the picture) are quite hooded without the tape, in the first photo. The second photo, I have used the 4mm tape, which I use daily. You must apply it to clean, dry skin and into the natural fold of your eyelid. Using tweezers(I purchased a really good pair that are quite pointy, from ,”Lids by Design”, even though they come with plastic tweezers). I then use either the thick end of the tweezer to run over the tape, or a cotton bud. Then press down for a few seconds with my fingers. I don’t use eyeshadow, so I can’t comment on that, but I use mascara, which I usually curl my lashes and place mascara on after that. I have old Mascara on in the photo. I prefer the light colour of the tape than brown, or skin colour. (They are very obvious on my skin) But everyone has their own preference. The variety packet is great value for money, as it has different sizes for each occasion. I rarely review anything, but the tape from ,’Lids By Design”, is worth paying the extra money. The quality, versatility, useage, for, me , is definitely worth it. I hope this helps.

Paupières tombantes, et par manque de moyens financiers pour me payer une blépharoplastie, ce produit est un très bon compromis. Cependant, quelques petites rougeurs sont à déplorer après de longues heures de port des patchs.
