I’ve tried a few different rimming salts, and this is by far my favorite. The first thing that stands out is the container—the extra-wide mouth makes it so easy to rim a standard margarita glass without having to pour the salt out onto a separate plate. The lid also doubles as a tray if you need it, which is genius. The flavor is spot-on. It’s not just plain salt; you can really taste the lime juice crystals. It adds a nice tart, citrusy kick that balances out the tequila perfectly. Plus, I love that it’s all-natural with no weird fillers like silicon dioxide. It sticks well to the glass if you use a fresh lime wedge first. Definitely a staple for my bar cart now!

I've had jalapeno margarita salt at several restaurants and bars over the years and finally got some for home entertaining and weekend use. High quality salt. Only ding would be that it isn't spicy enough for me. Needs more jalapeno in it. Still, whenever I make margaritas when entertaining, these babies get gulped down quickly when using this salt.

We make classic on-the-rocks margaritas at home with good tequila and limeade, with limes...and this rim salt is the perfect addition to make them great. We like the little extra zip from the hot pepper, and the lime citrus tartness adds a lot to the flavor of the drink. We've gone through a couple of these containers this summer, and always keep it handy on our bar cart.

When I first opened the salt, it simply looks just like salt. I figured there would be lime zest or some thing mixed in, however there wasn’t. Using a salt rimming kit for margaritas, it went on to the rims very easily and tasted great. It was somewhat subtle compared to the taste of the lime margaritas. Would probably taste more potent when using different flavors of margarita mix.

Light lemony flavor enhances fruit flavored margaritas without overwhelming. This quality, combined with outstanding customer service, makes this lemon flavored sugar a product I would definitely purchase again.

Okay, hear me out. A little lime juice on the rim, dip it in this salt to give the rim a nice coating, add a healthy bit of lime juice to the bottom, then fill with ice-cold Modelo. Yes, the beer, Modelo. I'm telling you, it'll be your new favorite evening beer, it is so refreshing. This is an excellent quality salt—great taste, and the perfect size container for dipping your favorite glass. Salud!

This is the perfect finishing touch for a lemon drop. It’s the right consistency and has a lovely natural flavour.

I purchased this margarita salt cocktail rimmer to jazz up my dry January mocktails. The flavour is great, since I was looking specifically for something citrusy with a little bit of a spicy kick - and that's exactly what I got. I just wish it weren't so expensive...I'd like to try other cocktail rimmers from LAVA, but its hard to justify $30+ on flavoured salt and a somewhat lengthy time to delivery.
