I LOVE this thing and really hope they don't stop making it. It's great to just float on your back and look at the clouds. Or use like a regular kickboard. It's amazing for back kicking. You can just relax, look at the sky, get your cardio on... and when I get to the end of the pool instead if smacking my head against the wall, this thing acts like a bumper. I mean, be careful, I wouldn't rely on it, but it helps. It seemed a little $$$ for just a pool toy, but it's really versatile and unique. Worth every penny. It looks like it's only offered in 1 color now? I sincerely hope they're not going to stop making it, I want all my friends to get one.

I swim laps on my back and do not let my head go far into the water. Lately I've been experiencing a sore neck after I'm done and was looking for a solution. This is the only product of its kind that I found and it is really perfect. The 'board' stays in place and it doesn't impede my arm thrusts in any way. No pain after my swim session! Another bonus, because I'm doing the backstroke, sometimes I forget where I am in the lap and I have hit my head on the pool wall. With the board around my neck, it hits the wall first, so, no conking of my head! Wish I always had this.

This provides a decent support around your neck to kind of float or just "hang" in the water. We tried it with the opening in the front and in the back. It works both ways so you have to figure out which is most comfortable. I like the opening in the front and then I kind of lean back. It provides a nice "stretch" to just hang in the water. It can also be used as a "kick" board for exercising. It's made of durable material with a thick interior.

I am still excited about this product! Who in the world would have thought that this neck brace floaty thing would really work??? I DIDN'T think so until I tried it myself and I was blown away at the simple fact it REALLY holds me up without any effort of my own! When I say I float, I FLOAT and my head is well above the water (results might very if you use it differently than I did but should work excellent if you follow directions). Anyways, while floating my ears were out of the water, and I felt secure and steady. I do not know if this will help with back or neck pain yet but I am definitely going to try the next time my back acts up!!!! Packaging for this was minimal clear plastic wrap so it was not a pain to open. Don’t let the oddness of it fool you IT IS A GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

When I got the Nekdoodle I was concerned that it was too tight around the neck, and might put too much pressure on the carotid arteries. I posted a review about this, and was contacted by the company, who offered to exchange it for me for one that had a larger opening. I actually meant to do this, but in the meantime I started using it in the jacuzzi, and guess what, I'm still alive. So my concerns were unwarranted. I was very impressed that the company offered to exchange it for another. I love using it. It really lets me get my injured shoulders near the jets without getting water in my ears.
