I am so happy you guys have created a portable barre for at home and other products for people who love to ballet at home! I purchased ballet beautiful and sleek technique DVDs to use. I hate doing hardcore gym stuff but ballet has always been a beautiful workout and works for my body so when I saw this barre I HAD to buy it! It was so easy to put together! It’s also very sturdy and easy to take from one room to another! It’s also very nice looking especially with the wood, unlike other at home barre’s. I also noticed the instruction manual had a page where you get a free leg stretcher and spin disc for free when you order their artan barre! All you have to do is email them your order number! That was an amazing experience because I have been eyeing a leg stretcher so this was a pretty amazing bonus!!! What a great company and customer service!!! I was so nervous about ordering this Barre online. However, I was not disappointed. I ordered on a Saturday and it arrived on the Monday. The pieces were safely boxed and wrapped. The Barre is sturdy metal with wood-look metal pieces. It was very easy to assemble and came instruction that were in colour and easy to understand. My daughter loves it. It's great for both adults and kids and is built to last. The bars are also quite easy to adjust. I wish the base was heavier to make it more sturdy but the included covers for the bass keep it quite steady. Very minor movement with use which doesn't affect the function much. If you're on the fence with all the other options, get this one. I bought the 5ft double bar and it's more than enough for an Adult let alone a child. *discovered that if I don't over-tighten the feet, I can turn them in to tuck the Barre away neatly.*

Très bon produit. Se monte facilement. Placée dans une chambre à coucher, elle n'y prend pas trop de place. Utilisée par une fillette de 9 ans, qui en est à sa deuxième année de ballet. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande vivement. Service à la clientèle impeccable chez Artan Balance. On a rapidement répondu à toutes mes questions avant que j'achète cette barre.

The barre can topple which means you do have to be careful of your firm using it. It’s also not height adjustable which is a shame. I would say it’s ok; not amazing. If my husband hadn’t got rid of the packaging, I would have returned.

Well I didn't read the product description carefully, so I was surprised that the barre is metal and not actually wood. And while ballet requires you to balance and not hang off the barre for it to be effective, this barre is not something you can put a lot of weight on it, it wobbles. (Would not recommend doing leg stretches lifted onto the barre as an adult). Otherwise for ronde de jambs and plies, it's fine as a guide, and at 4 feet wide only, is easy and light to stow away in a corner.
