Very nice, user-friendly unit. Arrived in perfect condition and the battery charged up in about three hours. Picture and sound are really good and I love the large screen. Also, the seller's customer service is excellent. I was able to message them via Amazon's Contact Seller option to register for the free three-year warranty I learned about from the paper "disc" inside the player. Very much appreciated!

I needed a dvd player, and I don't have a lot of room in my apartment. This unit fit the bill perfectly. The screen is large, the sound is OK, and I think that it is worth the money. It is easy to use, and I am glad that I bought it.

I got this portable DVD player because I wanted to watch my favorite movies without having to find them on different streaming platforms. I didn’t realize that DVD’s were so cheap now. I got 15 movies for $35! They fit well in the player and the picture looks fantastic! The sound is clear and the big buttons make it easy to use. They have English subtitles programmed into the setup which is perfect because I love watching movies with them. I did have to turn the brightness up because it was on 0, but it looks good on +1. The screen is HUGE and it looks like a computer. I will absolutely be bringing this along on my next trip. Overall, it’s a great buy! I wish I would have purchased one sooner.

This portable DVD player has a super large screen and is very substantial. It is simple to instal and operate. The picture is very clear. I use it to play exercise DVDs but it would be great for viewing films and traveling. It worked perfectly for a few months and then stopped. I contacted the manufacturer's service department. They tried to troubleshoot by email and then replaced the unit. They were extremely responsive, courteous and answered my emails promptly. The new player works very well. I recommend this purchase.

I had wanted a portable dvd player for my kitchen, so my sister gifted me this BFN-161 portable DVD player for my birthday. I was thrilled with it as soon as I set it up as it had beautiful picture and sound. The only thing was two black circles at the bottom corners of the screen. Being very unskilled at tech things, I assumed it was a set up error I had made. I sent an email to customer service to ask for help. Within 24 hours they answered back needing serial numbers etc. I sent some and needed help again due to my own inexperience. Again very quickly they responded and in a very nonjudgmental and helpful way took me through what they needed. They then informed me that it may be a problem with the player, and they would gladly replace it for me at no charge. Within the week I had a new DVD player, with an even more beautiful screen. I love it so much! Full disclosure I have rarely written any review of any product or service as I have such minimal typing and tech skills. But as I was so impressed with this product, and even more with the high level of professionalism and customer service, I just had to write this excellent review. I'm a 90's kid and I ABSOLUTELY love this. Not only can I watch all my collected movie disc's, it works with my CD's I burnt from limewire too. I even tried "my bloody Valentine" and I still had the 3D glasses. I've owned plenty of DVD players in my day. You will hear the disc in the tray. This is not a default with this kind of technology! The volume goes up to 20, it's very adiquite. The volume on my burnt CD's are much louder than the Disc's my movies are on. You can hook up headphones or a speaker if the sound isn't to your liking. The button controls are simple and the cord length is at least 4 foot. The size is bigger than an average laptop. I cant express how happy I am with this purchase. I will have endless entertainment.

Overall a nice product. Remote works well. Manual is well written. DVDs load quickly and chapter advance and FF and Rev all work well. No issues reading regular and burned DVDs. Only a few nits, no way to see what chapter you are on and when you don’t look at the screen straight on, the image loses contrast and looks washed out (mostly in the vertical plane, side to side is pretty good). Good value for the price.

This is a wonderful dvd player. I got all my dvds out to watch. Easy to use and no need for internet/wifi. Good audio and nice display screen w vivid colors. Great gift idea or good to have if you want to log off the internet or a power outage. Good way to keep kids off the internet too! No instructions needed. I got the pretty purple one.

After loading it shows NO Disc. Now I can't use it. Utterly disappointed.

I am so happy with my DVD player. It arrived faster than expected and in perfect condition. I love how simple it is to operate. It has exceeded all my expectations! The picture and sound quality are surprisingly great. The adjustments to the volume and light are easy to do also. I like the bigger screen and find that I am not using the sync to TV as much as I had expected to, even though it works well and easily. It works equally well with the battery or plugged in. It is great to be able to adjust the screen sideways as well as forward and backward. I like how portable it is and am looking forward to using it on our next road trip. I have already ordered 2 more for other family members. I recommend this DVD player, especially for seniors and children.

Honestly louder than I thought it was going to be and the picture quality is really good I love it sooo much and it’s pretty big like I wasn’t expecting it to be this big which I’m very happy about

This product is better than I anticipated and gives good value for your money. The controls are very explicit and easy to use, & the 15.6” screen makes it very comfortable to watch a movie as if it was on a TV. The swivel screen can truly turn 270 degrees and flip it 180 degrees to allow view from different seating and have the DVD Player placed on a stable surface. However, the image resolution is generally good but can sometimes be low and goes off as it needs higher resolutions and needs more pixels per inch; the sound is good, the battery allows you to watch movies not for 6 hours but 4 hours. Overall, it's a good product.

Just received this item today and tested it out and it’s actually very good quality! It’s simple to use, the picture quality is clear and the size is just perfect! I bought it for my Grandpa to watch movies in the seniors home, and I’m glad I opted for this purchase! The fact it comes with a remote to is amazing! The price is great as well!
