Is almost an exact match to GMs silver ice metallic. Seems to be very sticky. Does seem like it’s a little too thick though so it’s hard to put on tricky areas

The other reviews weren’t kidding, it really does look like paint with its depth of color, flake, and high gloss. It’s not quite as easy to work with as 3M, but I think it’s partly because of its thickness. Still easy to work with. The color matched my Audi silver almost perfectly, the only difference can be seen in direct sunlight because of the more grainy flake, but most people wouldn’t notice. Best part is the lights shine through at night so you don’t lose the functionality of the marker lights. Highly recommended!

Yes, the VINYL wrap is JUST LIKE PAINT! It has the DEPTH and SPARKLE matching actual paint. There is however a price for this deep sparkle and it is flexibility. I purchased to add detailing; I had begun adding a large piece to the fender - this became a frustrating disaster as it did not want to contour to the fender's organic oval shape. Quickly abandoned the aggravating effort. (Had the fender NOT been mounted it "may" have been possible.) Cannot complain about difficulty to wrap as this is the price of having a THICK DEEP JUST LIKE PAINT SPARKLE. Only wish it was tackier once heat is applied - hopefully the bond will increase over time. (Public use & reproduction permitted.) I picked up the VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Silver Metallic Vinyl wrap to do some cosmetic upgrades on my car, and I’m honestly pretty impressed with how it turned out. The gloss is seriously eye-catching, it has that mirror-like shine that gives off a high-end, professional look even though I installed it myself. It looks much better in person than in photos. Applying it was easier than I expected. The air release channels really do help minimize bubbles, and the wrap is stretchy enough to work around curves and edges without too much hassle. I’m not a pro at this by any means, but I was still able to get a smooth finish with a little patience and care. One thing to note is that the surface underneath needs to be perfectly clean and smooth—this stuff is so glossy that any bumps or scratches underneath will show through. Also, while it feels solid now, I’m curious to see how well it holds up over time, especially with weather and sun exposure. Overall, I think it’s a great product for the price. It made my car look way better without the cost of a full paint job. I’d definitely consider using this wrap again for other projects.

The silver metallic wrap is beautiful. However, it is thicker and harder to worker with. It's adhesive doesn't stick the best either.

My photos closely reveal the actual color, metallic silver. This film is has a stronger, thicker backing than others, and a clear protective coating as well. The protective coating is to be removed when you choose, knifeless tape didn't work well with the coating on. Don't forget to remove it, the high gloss is underneath. I used this film and another color to cover the heat-grabbing, black sunroof glass on my car. I wet apply with slightly soapy water since I work alone. I find it easier to work, and more forgiving of mistakes. I've never had any problems with adhesion, but since manufacturers don't speak of it, I'll leave that decision to you.

Once you get the hang of it, this material is incredibly easy to work with. I am a complete amateur at any kind of wrapping or vinyl application. I wanted to add some stripes to my car, and I have had very limited success with other vinyl materials. This was my third try (I made a mess of the first one, and the second was ok, but not great), so my expectations were pretty low. But this stuff went on great, even over curves (where the previous vinyl was a problem). The key is to use heat, lots of heat. It needs to be stretched to conform to different shapes. Once it's warm, it will do almost anything. If you have somebody to help keep it warm while you apply it, it's much easier. You can't beat the price, either. Would/will definitely buy again.
