Carabiner Clip/Rope Tightener, 2-3/4 In.

I use these in the winter to tie down ropes on my winter plant storage greenhouses. (For around 10 years.) I just bought a couple more for this winter to replace a few I lost. I use them to tighten and hold down ropes on tarps that close off the greenhouses. (I will go out after a snow and shovel snow into the greenhouse to add moisture to the plants.) I sometimes use these carabiners when they are covered in snow and ice. Better than knots for me, easy to release. They work well to grip on the rope even if it's slightly icy and stiff from the winter's day. They're an important part of my winter setup.

This thing is dope, I know knots but this saves tons of time. Helped me pitch a tarp fast when it started down poring. Good and foolproof solution for tying a ridge-line.

Nifty lil gadget for the gadget pouch and will work good for the 550 parachord for setting up a quike release system i seen by preparedmind 101! So i shall do the same cause it makes things KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID in a good way! i will be ordering more of these in other sizes for my pack!!!

If I were good with knots I wouldn’t need these but.... These are a life saver. Quick and very reliable. I just took down a pop up cabana after three months of winds and none were loose at all.

The product is what you see but i ordered the small. When they came i was disappointed. These are really small and i wish i new that they are less than two inches in lenght. You cannot use a heavier cordage with these. If i was to buy again i definitely would buy the large so i can use 550 paracord. The small you cant use 550 cord.

I am using this product to tie off a ridgeline for my tarp when hammock camping. Note this is not designed for climbing use or to support a person. It does work great however for holding tension on a line. This can be used to cinch down any rope that you would like to attach to a point. The finish on this product was good with no rough edges, although the color on mine is more of an unfinished dark grey than the black pictured. Very easy to use.

タープ設営時に木と木の間にリッジラインを張る際に利用しています。 細いライン（φ2.4mm）なので寒い季節は縛るのが難しいですがこれを使ってからは手袋をしていても問題なく固定出来るので助かります。 ループエイリアンにも興味はありましたがあちらは入手し辛いのと、対応するロープの太さの制限もあってこちらにしましたが、今のところ購入して満足しています。

I bought this wee thing to act as a cord tensioner of my shade sail. Does the job really well (so far) Easy to use, instructions are pretty clear. At the moment it's holding the entire tension of the sail with just two winds of the cord. I think the body is made from a high quality plastic/nylon, with a stainless steel carabiner gate, but it does the job. Going to buy at least one more, maybe two, as there are lots of things I could use it for. It does say Max Load is 50lb, so under extreme gale force winds, I'd probably take the sale down. I wouldn't be using it anyway.
