Well received. I wish it were metal, but it still looks very nice. Recipient loved it and we were all impressed with the level of detail. Would also like if there was a magnet to hold it closed but again still very nice.

I bought this statue to give to our grandson for His First Holy Communion. It's amazing! He loved it and everyone in the room was admiring what a beautiful statue it is, but then when they all saw that it opens to reveal a triptych image it was a "wow" moment! While I do wish the tiny magnet holding it closed was a little stronger, so it doesn't swing open every time it's picked up, but that's a minor issue. The statue is pricey for being resin, but I still highly recommend it for a special occasion gift. The features are masculine on St. Michael and details on the body show his strength. Love the surprise triptych opening of the front that reveals three additional images of St. Michael conquering evil. I liked the details of the sword and shield and especially that there is a subtle painted highlights on the triptych. The size is very generous and image is exactly as pictured on the listing. I couldn't recommend it more, if you're looking for a beautiful St. Michael the Archangel statue.

Excellent statue. The sword is not metal, it's a resin or plastic so I do fear it breaking if it falls during an earthquake or accidental knock over. The wings are also not metal but they feel solid. I think I will paint mine because it's a little bland on the color unless you have some nice lighting on it. I paint most of my altar statues anyways and that was the intent when I purchased this. The last thing is, when you open the chest cavity, one side is solid and sticks nicely, the other side was kind of loose and opens very easily, not a huge flaw but definitely noticeable when spending money like this on an item. It looks great and is bigger than I thought it would be so thank you.

I like the interior of the design as well as the exterior. The interior features the Archangel, Michael defeating the Devil.

I purchased this as a gift for a loved-one who has a collection along these lines and they loved it! They were particularly delighted by how it opened up to reveal three intricate scenes in the breast of the figure. I told 'em it was a Transformer. The statue arrived packaged well, and looks better in person than it does in the images. The sword and some of the narrower details might be considered delicate, but if handled carefully there shouldn't be any issues. There is actually a little bit of flexibility to the resin, which is assuring. All in all? Worth it.

Simply beautiful statue of Archangel Michael. Well made with lovely detail work. You simply can't go wrong with a Veronese statue-I have several and love them all. Securely packaged in original box.

Design in it is great, you won’t regret buying it. It isn’t “top gear” so to say but for it’s Value I think it meets and probably exceeds it’s expectation If knit picking the axel in which opens the door seems a bit feeble; opens to easily and kinda small hence may break in a fall or two. But, again, design quite great.
