CanDo TheraPutty Standard Hand Exercise Putty For Rehabilitation, Exercises, Hand Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Hand Strengthening, Improve Motor Skills, Stress Relief

This is a therapeutic putty that was recommended by my physical therapist to treat a bursitis. It’s easy and fun to use and has been beneficial to treat bursitis.

I had to have occupational therapy and this putty was so helpful in sessions that I bought some for myself - it's the same brand she uses. The only thing is that when it's new it smells like gas because it is petroleum based, and it leaves my hands stinky for a while. The smell disappears with use. I absolutely recommend this product.

Great for hand and wrist rehab.

Had a minor tendon injury. Pain from ring finger all the way up to the middle of my forearm. After about 2 months of healing I needed to start some strengthening and therapy. I ordered X-soft but after I found that to still be a little hard so I also ordered XX-soft. Seems like this will work for me. If you are just using this for strengthening then I’m sure XX-soft is too soft. I could barely touch my ring finger to my thumb a month ago so I needed the softest one for my rehab.

It is stiffer than the putty received from the therapist who gave me yellow. I find this beige to be about the same resistance as the therapist's yellow. This has a slimy feel when first picked up.

I bought the softest version of this putty to use as a fidget toy while I’m at my desk on calls. The consistency is very similar to silly putty (for those of us old enough to know what that is). I probably over use it, as I constantly need something to keep my hands busy and within 2 weeks the consistency is completely broken down and becomes very sticky and mushy and has to be thrown away. It’s possible that a firmer version would hold up longer.

Using it after carpal tunnel surgery, recommended by physical therapist. Works well.

I bought the softest aternative for my mother but it is actually quite hard! Could be that the product is old? Or perhaps they use the same putty for all their products but with different colours? If you want a really cheap version of medium to hard putty then the softest version of this brand might be for you. I bought more of the 'real' but pretty expensive AHF Therapy putty instead and will try to return this one.

This was recommended to me by the NHS hospital I was attending for some damage to my fingers. It worked well to improve movement in my fingers.
