Like all the kits from Rokr this is a kit well worth the fun of building. The pieces part from the panels with ease and the parts are very accurate but there are some spares to cover the odd breakage. This is not a build for the beginner and some parts need some force particularly the shaft sleeves the hold the shafts for the globes. It is the first kit I have seen that shows the use of a hammer in the construction for instance. The parts include a novel tool to ensure the accurate placing of gears and other parts on the shafts which is a great help. The music box movement is of good quality and the music easily identifiable, not always the case. All in all a good build that deserves not to be rushed in order finish up with the delightful unit shown in the promos.

This was a beautiful music box. Which was a pleasure to make. It was not too difficult to build and overall a pleasant outcome, which I could then give to my wife as a gift. She loves music boxes. However, on the downside, many of the pieces delaminated when removed from the plywood sheet, indeed many of the plywood sheets almost delaminated when removed from the plastic wrap. Overall good idea, cheaply made.

Bought as a gift for a friend, he's done several of these types of models and said he loved putting it together. Looked really nice assembled and the music box is nice and clear.

This is a fun puzzle but aimed at 16 years of age and older. It’s a decorative piece that combines a musical box. It is made of wood and once constructed is very robust.
