Description states 4 bags but does not show dimension of the** A: Yes，there are 4 bags，and a white, monolayer bag. **Q: will the 3 bag set fit in a 21" carry on?** A: I don’t have away luggage but I have way a Tumi carry-on that is equal sides and zips up the middle, it fits great and I love it. These are a little more expensive than other brands that I have had but I think they’re well worth it, higher-quality. **Q: How is the compression achieved compared to just packing the clothes very tightly or rolling them up? I don't get why the clothes take less space?** A: The packs have an air vent to compress out the air. In that regard they don't differ from vacuum bags or rolling.
