Drammatica: Very Best Of Yoko Shimomura

Shipping aside, how it came in an envelope, which probably was the reason why there is a crack in the case, I’m here for the music within the disc.Remixed from the original, or so it seems, a breath of fresh air all the same. With all the songs from the old games I love such as legend of mana, and bonus tracks from newer games like FFXV, there something here for everyone.If you want to hear the originals from the games, YouTube has your answer.My only complaint is I don’t have a signed copy.

Different to the newest addition Drammatica gives us the other half of the Yoko Shimomura Collection! It is true: All of her works are truly master pieces and these compilations do not do justice to her full work. But it is the closest the industry can provide between these collections: Drammatica and memoria!. Drammatica gives us older songs and the sole proof that indeed 6 years ago a game named Final Fantasy Versus XIII existed with Somnus. The disc is superb and it worth it all the time, specially if you are looking to get a taste from here and there from Yoko Shimomura. I recommend it from the get go but if I had to go with one of the two I will go with memoria! Still I believe both complete each other.

If you appreciate awesome game-related instrumental music, you will love this.At first I mainly bought this CD for the sake of the Kingdom Hearts songs. But soon after listening to it, I've grown quite addicted to the entire album. The songs composed by Yoko are beautiful and personally for me, can be emotionally captivating. Very great songs...and I wish more music artists would create amazing instrumental pieces such as these....Worth every penny!

Whether you game or not, you'll no doubt love this CD. The orchestration is top notch, the performance is excellent, and if you're a fan of the Square Enix games, then that's an added perk. If you aren't a fan, you'll still enjoy listening to this CD. Yes, it is a bit pricey (and unless you can read Japanese, the disc insert is more or less worthless), but that shouldn't stop you from purchasing this disc. Just avoid purchasing it direct from Amazon (see if there is an Amazon Marketplace merchant selling it; usually it's half the price Amazon wants).

A review can't be made for something that must be heard. If you enjoyed the music from the videos games that the songs from this album are based off of then you'll enjoy this album. If you have a love for music then you just have to listen to it. All the songs are redone and fully orchestrated. It's a little pricey but you won't be disappointed with this spectacular album.

ゲーム音楽がクラシックの重厚な響きとあいまって、さらに深い世界観を見せてくれます。ゲームのストーリーが思い出されるだけでなく、初めて聞く人にも感じられる感動がありますね。まさに、ゲームの音楽の最高峰です。

収録した曲、実は５曲くらいしか聴いたことないですが、生オーケストラで初めて聴いて、アルバム全曲が好きになりました。もともとゲームはあまりやってないですけどライブアライブの２曲のために購入しました。アルバム１回最初から最後まで流すと、やっぱり良い曲ばっかりだなぁとびっくりしました。収録曲のゲームをやった人はもちろんお勧めです。ゲームやったことないけど、ただオーケストラが好きな人聴いても損はしないよ！

聞いていて、しみじみとそう思わせてくれるベストセレクションです。聖剣伝説、キングダムハーツ、フロントミッション、ライブアライブ以上4タイトルからと、FFXIIIから1曲の合計15+1曲。どれか1作でもやったことのある方は買ってみると面白いと思います。特に聖剣伝説レジェンドオブマナでボロボロ涙を流せた人には是非とも聞いていただきたい。全曲、ドイツでの生オケで再録された曲たちです。このアルバムの見所、というか、そんな感じのところはそこに尽きると思います。

好きなゲームの曲があんな素晴らしいオーケストラバージョンで聴けるなんて…今の時代にいてよかったです! 購入の決め手は、キングダムハーツの『The Other Promise』←本当にいい!ロクサスのことを思い出してなんだかせつなくなっちゃいました。 もちろん他の曲も素晴らしいですよ!激しさ・かっこよさ・自由さ・広大さ・癒し・楽しさ←こんな感じの曲が入ってます《私的感じ方です》女性らしく、繊細で上品!何度聴いても飽きないです。知らない曲もありましたが、聴きながら自分なりのイメージが浮かんできました。 個人的な意見になってしまいますが…KHの鎧の男の『Rage Awakened』を入れてほしかったなぁ…すいませんどうでもいいことで… ☆何かひとつでも気になる曲があるのなら、買ってみてもいいのでは?ゲームだけじゃなく、こういったジャンルが好きな方も!部活やサークル等で吹奏楽をやってる方なんかには特におすすめだと思います!知らない人が聴いて、ゲームの曲だって知ったらたぶんびっくりするでしょうね〜☆
