I use this for making miso soup and they're very good! The lids help to keep the heat in, so much so that my boyfriend was taken aback when the miso soup he had been saving was still piping hot. They're also easy to clean. I've popped these in the dishwasher multiple times and they're still as good as new. They are a little smaller than restaurant miso soup bowls, but they're also not too small. Perfect for a single serving. Durable miso soup bowls with lids that really keep in the heat! Highly recommend!

Lovely little bowl and lid / condiment dish combo. The perfect size (160 ml) for instant miso.

Lovely cup. I really like the easy-to-remove lid and the shape of the bowl. Although it is meant for miso, I actually use it as a salt holder on our window sill, right next to the RO filter spigot. It is perfect for keeping Celtic salt handy so we can add a pinch to our water when filling up our sports bottles. The design is beautiful, light, and pretty. It is also very functional. If we ever needed to, we could easily use it as two larger bowls and two smaller ones for things like condiments, hummus, or small snacks.

These are nice little bowls! They're smaller than I expected, but they're still deceptively large. I was able to make tuna salad in one with one can of tuna; it fit perfectly! Unfortunately, that bowl now has a scratch in it from the fork, and I was quite gentle with the fork as well. That's the reason for four stars: these scratch quite easily. I expect these won't last long if I use a fork in them. I advise only using chopsticks with rounded ends. Wooden ones will likely be best; metal will probably scratch the plastic.
