I thought as much...
I have long suspected that something is amiss in this lab and this PT100 probe has enabled me to prove it! 116.79, minus 0.56 for the resistance of two leads, minus 100 for 0℃.... divided by 0.385 equals.. Forty two! I knew it! This coffee is cold! Seems to work okay out of the box, I've seen some other reviews doubting its longevity but only time will tell that. I particularly like the three lead arrangement, it's quite a clever way to null out the resistance of two - leads by giving you a third lead to use as a secondary current path just for measuring two of the leads. Assuming that all of the leads are pretty much identical, this gives you a pretty good idea of how much you need to subtract from the reading across +/- leads with the sensor in between.

I used this probe to measure temperature on top of a column. Worked great the three times I used it. I went to use this probe again yesterday and it did not work. Controller error code was an open wire to the probe. I investigated using a meter and it was open between the + wire and both of the - wires. Investigated more by opening the wires and found both the - wires broken between the probe and end terminal. Very poor constructed wire. This cable looked great with a SS braided covering and should take a beating before failing. You get what you paid for. Looking for another manufacturer.

tried using it for beer brewing and after checking for some hours in low temperatures it seemed fine, I started heating the water and the moment it got over 50°C the temperature reading spiked up to 603.9°C causing my system to fail and resulted in me scrubing the brew and having to buy a new and better one now.
