McGraw-Hill Education PMP Project Management Professional Exam 1st Edition

So much shorter than all the other books I've used- and still covered all the same topics. Also, much higher quality of writing, which makes it easier to read. This was recommended to me and I recommend it to you!

Good book, really helpful in case you are not seeking too much details.The questions at the end of each chapter and at the end of the book are really in good quality.I recommend it to pmp prep.

The process groups and knowledge areas are clearly explained. the text is easy to read and the exam questions are of similar level and kind than the real ones in the exam.

Very direct and well written book, better than other books that over write the content with 600+ pages.For PMP I think 300+ is the limit.

Generally good but the section on PERT/three-point estimation was confusing and some of the exercises, including the critical path analysis exercises, contained errors.

This study guide is an excellent complement to the PMBOK. The PMBOK descriptions can be hard to understand at times, so using this study guide can help clarify those challenging areas. This is especially true for the sections that involve calculations (like Earned Value, PERT, etc). I really liked that this study guide provides great tables and diagrams that help to explain or summarize these difficult concepts.The first chapter provides a good overview of the PMP Exam application process and what to expect when taking the exam. It explains the 3 types of questions that the exam will ask. The following chapters follow the sequence of the PMBOK, making it easy to reference each other as you study each topic. Each chapter has exercises along with an answer key with an explanation for the correct answer. There is also a full-length practice exam and answer key at the end of the book.Overall, this is a great book to use in preparation for the PMP exam.
