Great quality and value for money
I have ordered this honey several times already. It was sent in a timely manner, well packaged, and it tastes really good. I like that it's medical grade (UMF 15+), and it's a large jar. It's about double the size of many other Manuka honeys with the same grade/price point. It's quality, and it's very good value for money. I started eating a small teaspoon of this honey after my immune system got destroyed by chemo, and it has really helped with building it up again. At the beginning, I would catch a cold if someone sneezed in another room, and after a few months of eating this honey, I could actually sit next to someone with a cold and not catch it right away. Definite improvement!

nice Manuka Honey from New Zealand
I've been getting this Manuka Honey for about a year now on the subscription plan. I've always received the jar as pictured. I was introduced to Manuka Honey when it was used on a small wound when I visited a doctor's clinic after a mountain bike fall while riding in the redwood forest near Rotorua on the North Island. The Maori, the native New Zealanders, discovered its healing properties long ago. It's widely used in New Zealand for many health related purposes. There are special wound gels and wound dressings impregnated with the honey that are sold in Pharmacies and Health food stores. The regular food style honey (like this) is sold in all the supermarkets there. I brought home a 2.2 pound jar of it. The higher the number on the jar the more strongly medicinal it is. This 20+ is about midrange in the rating scale and is about where the honey becomes moderately disinfective. I've seen ratings up to 40+ and there may be others that are higher. I've read complaints and concerns online about the processes used for creating these ratings and how they are given and about who administers the testing. Some people assert that there are conflicts of interest between the testers and the producers. There are even other organizations that have different testing methods and rating systems. I have no way of evaluating who is right or who is just trying to confuse the matter... or what manuka honey is stronger than another. I like this honey and others may prefer another. To each his own. Manuka honey is also sourced from Australia where the Manuka tree/bush also grows. I've tried the "W" brand 16+ honey and it tasted similar but was less thick and slightly more grainy. This 20+ always seems very firm and almost, but not quite, minutely grainy. The color is lighter because because of this extremely fine grain like appearance. I think if you heated it then it would be clearer in color. Which brings me to another point. Don't put the honey in hot drinks or cook with it if you want to maximize its healing properties. Heating destroys its medicinal properties. I assume that the hydrogen peroxide like effect is neutralized as well as all the beneficial natural enzymes. Enjoy it cold or at room temperature. I haven't seen any sign of wondrous medical effects or changes in my general well being. I'm already fairly healthy and am not buying this to treat or 'cure' any medical problem. I like the taste and occasionally use it instead of antibiotic ointment on small cuts and wounds. It's great on a 'band-aid' pad to keep a wound clean and help prevent infections. My taste buds like it and so does my stomach. (not affiliated in any way, shape or form)
