Schwinn baywood Cruiser Bike Featuring Steel Step Through Frame

I was worried about the color cause it said purple, but it looks exactly like the picture. Very pale lavender (looks white) & love the teal on the tires. Easy to ride, does make a slight noise when riding & can’t figure out where it’s coming from. There were some missing nuts as the box was not sealed completely on one end. But that’s no challenge for my man. He had it done pretty quickly. I’m very happy with the 24” wheels & I’m 5’4”.

I haven't purchased a bike in a while. Went with Schwinn and it appears they're still making solid bikes. The chain guard was damaged (dented and scratched), but a call to customer service was easy and brief. Emailed a pic of the damage and we've already received a replacement. Assembly required but it's not difficult if you possess a few tools and common sense. All in all, it's a good, sturdy bike. Our granddaughter loves it!

Beautiful bicycle. Easy assembly. Comes with a cute basket….but the basket was broken.

This bike looks great and rides smoothly. I bought it as a birthday gift for my girlfriend (she loves it) and wouldn't have had time to request a replacement, so I went ahead and built it anyway but made sure to get some photos of the issues that came with it. It looks like it may have been mishandled at the manufacturer warehouse. There are some dents and bent pieces (see attached photos) that probably didn't happen during shipping, judging by their placement and sufficient cushioning in the box. I managed to realign the metal wheel covering on the back after loosening the pre-assembled screws and forcefully pushing the pieces into place. But this shouldn't be necessary. And I would argue that it shouldn't have been boxed up with those dents in the first place. Hoping Schwinn can send some replacement parts or issue some kind of refund.

Great bike but 24 inch wheels does not mean short adults can ride it. Very small frame. The reviews have people saying they ride it to work and back and extolling the great quality. But only buy no adult could comfortably ride this bike. Gifting it to a child. Otherwise would have returned it. False advertising in the description as well.

Upon opening pieces were missing, (nuts and screws). I did not notice until I rode the bike and the front wheel caught on the fender while i was crossing the road (could have been a dangerous situation). I wanted to go ahead and return the bike and get a refund and get a different one but my mother (im a college student and bought it with my own money) insisted I just email the company and get the missing pieces. we get the missing pieces and put them on. The wheel catches again and I believe the problem is the front fender itself. The period in which I can get a return and refund was closing so I once again tell my mom I will just return it and get my money back. She insists on messaging the company again to get are placement fender (I found out later that she threw out the box it came in and she wasn't able to find an affordable or big enough replacement which is why she insisted on me not sending it back). I do so and the date for retuning the bike passes. we replace the fender. the bike still catches. I have wasted money and while the responsibility for not getting a refund is on me because I choose to listen to my mom instead of my gut instinct that doesn't change the fact that the bike just does not work in a way that ensures my safety and I refuse to be hit by a peddle happy driver while trying to cross the road because my bike's wheel keeps catching. I'm cutting my losses and mourning the loss of 400 dollars that could have went towards my tuition. Do not buy.

The bike itself is simple and well constructed. We ended up having a problem with the rear wheel. I contacted customer support for the bike (Schwinn), and they were great. I sent them some specifics on the bike, along with a video of the problem, and they quickly sent a replacement part. They stand behind their product.

Excellent bike, came without any damage. Put it together in about 1 1/2 hour but had to look at video's because the instructions were very poor. Let me say that this is a Child's bike. I bought it for myself because it said it would fit 4'8 - 5' 6. I am very short at 5'0" BUT it is way too small for me! The seat and handle bars are so close together that it's hard to even get on even though I adjusted the handle bars and seat up higher. Other than that its a well built bike but definitely not for an adult.
