Wavertree & London SandalWood Patchouli (2 bars) - Triple-milled (twice) Shea Butter soap bar - Rich & Creamy Lather

I love this scent from the Wavertree and London company (Sandal Wood/Patchouli)! Most sweet or artificial scents really bother me and I get sick headaches from them. But this scent is perfect - not too strong or sweet. The Patchouli is rather mild and not overpowering. The scent lingers for a short time, but not hours like some of the artificially scented soaps do. I wouldn't call it super moisturizing, but it's not especially drying, either. The bar is a big size, lathers really well in our very hard water, and lasts a very long time as a hand soap. At least a couple of months! Well worth the price. Another of this company's soap that I like is the Havana scented. It has the slight scent of a cigar to it which reminds me of my father. It isn't very sweet, just a somewhat earthy scent. Very nice. I have ordered other scents from this company, but they were too strong or were offensive for me and I gave them away. The recipients loved them, though! :-)

Excellent soap!

Perfect gift for soap lover's of all ages. The scent is strong and long-lasting.

This is okay, but I kept one of two bars I bought years ago, I thought from Amazon, and the fragrance bursts from the package. This product is like a shadow of the previous one.

When I took these out of their packaging the scent was so strong it was overwhelming (but I’m also sensitive to scents). But the scent mellowed after a little while, especially after water hit it. The lather felt luxurious when using it and the ingredients seemed high quality. Unfortunately, my skin did break out into an eczema rash from it, I think because of the citrus-based ingredients. I hasn’t noticed it has citrus oil in it and also limonene, which comes from citrus. My body reacts to most forms of citrus. I should have noticed the ingredient list on the packaging before using it. But there should be more transparency about ingredients on the Wavertree and London website (and, subsequently, on the Amazon listing for their products). I won’t be using this soap again, even though I liked the smell.
