Is anyone else having a problem with the Scrub Daddy side of the sponge shredding and falling apart?

No, not with the Scrub Mommy. However, it does deteriorate before the sponge & a regular Scrub Daddy breaks down strangely when it's almost dead too.

What's the difference between a scrub mommy and a scrub daddy?

Scrub Daddy is only the harder material. Scrub Mommy has the harder material on one side, but a soft sponge material on the other side.

Are they dishwasher use

Yes, u can throw in the dishwasher to clean up a bit I usually do it 1x before I replace it
