Very good pressure cooker for daily use: light, resistant and cooks fast. Perfect for 1-2 people and easy to clean. Highly recommended if you want efficient results without complications.

I ordered the first one and it arrived completely damaged and scratched. Everything was loose inside a box that smells terrible. The product itself is very flimsy. I thought it was used, so I requested a replacement. To my surprise, it came exactly the same: damaged and scratched. The seller must be picking this up in the trash and selling it. Be my guest if you want to see it for yourself, but I DO NOT recommend it. The seller should shut down because their business model doesn't work.

Unless you're a single person living alone and cooking one meal at a time, you probably want to consider spending the extra few dollars and invest in the 3 liter version, which is about the same overall footprint but twice as tall. They strongly recommend not cooking anything which "foams up" in this one due to the small size, as the steam port can get easily clogged with schmutz and create an unsafe situation. For small servings of beans, this is ideal. You can get away with about a "can's worth" to just a bit more, and if you only want it for cooking beans you probably don't need anything else. If you want to cook one pot meals or curries though, get the 3 liter. Plus, you can cook urad dal and toor dal in the 3 liter because the foaming doesn't usually rise up to the steam port. The instructions are unambiguous and straightforward, and even have a small Indian recipes section in the back (which are recommended for the larger sizes-- just halve or third the recipes and it's usually fine). The first night I had it I made the rajma curry recipe from the book and it was excellent. Overall this is a fantastic bean pot. For everything else, you may feel like you should have gotten a larger one.
