Simple and cleaver ideia
Makes clean and easy oil changes. Price payed came back fast, no need crush washer and new bolts along oil changes. Installed long one for attached normal rose in Subaru xv lot of available clearance. Must try

Fit easily onto my Subaru Outback. I fit on a plastic tube and drain the oil without having a single drop hit the floor. You don't have to raise the front of the vehicle much to access the valve - much less than if you're wrestling with a wrench, drain pan, etc. Suggestion: I didn't have a cap for the nipple so I just cut off a bit of plastic hose, plugged one end and put that on - a DIY cap! Works fine. This is the 'original' item and costs more than the knock-offs. It appears well-made. I didn't want to risk a failure which could be catastrophic for the engine.

Do you change your own oil? Tired of having it spill all over you when you do the job? IF you answered yes to either of those questions, you should seriously consider getting the Fumoto. Changing oil is to so easy now, it's almost not fair. I had purchased a 17 Outback and when I went to change the oil for the first time I found out the plug was rounded by the previous owner, This made removing the plug difficult at best. I started researching a replacement plug and the Fumoto came up in the search. After reading multiple reviews on here and elsewhere I decide to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did. By placing a short line on the nipple and running into my collection container I can avoid any spills. Once set, all I have to do is turn the valve on and let it drain. No fuss, no mess. I know there are other versions out there, but this one has performed flawlessly for me and I highly recommend. A word of warning for some cars this device may stick down or out into an area where it could be damaged by debris. Check your clearances before settling one. Last thing you want is to have the valve shear off and lose all your oil while driving. I found the Outback to be tucked up and way far enough that I was not worried.

I think this is the best part I’ve ever installed on my 2015 crosstrek. Fit perfectly. No leaks after install. Looking forward to future oil changes!

Fits the 2025 Outback. The small opening causes the oil to drain slower, but the process remains completely clean. While you can attach a hose for easier aiming into the oil pan, it may slow the flow even further.

I have used these on all my vehicles for years. only way to go for me. Quick, and easy oil changes not to mention clean. I like it a lot.
