This is a new version control pod (black version) for z-5300 speakers. If your old control pod is missing or broken, this is just what you need. It has the same functions of the original control pod. Works great, got my speakers back up and going... so I love that as I've had them almost for 2 decades and REALLY didn't want to get rid of the system. ... Cord is a bit longer than the original, so that's nice; and it has connectors at both ends so it's easily extended if you want, even better. ... ... buuuut... it's not as loud as the original. I don't know if they didn't scale the signals it sends to the base right or what, but it's just not as loud. LEDs look a little weird too.
