TotalBoat Teak Cleaner and Brightener for Boats and Outdoor Teak Wood Furniture (2 Quart Kit)

It works! Don’t waste your time on other products. This stuff works wonders. It’s fast, easy, effective and affordable. I’ve used other brands but nothing works as good as this stuff. After using the cleaner and brighter, I sealed the furniture with Star Brite teak sealer in classic teak. My outdoor furniture looks brand new.

This product works amazingly! Very little effort to get my table clean. Recommend working in small sections like they say.

Works great lightly sanded the deck and then did the two step Part A and B. Light scrubbing with Part A removed some deep down dirt and grease the Part B seems to have returned the teak to its original luster and the deck is almost 50 years old with considerable weathering.

I am amazed. I used more traditional cleaners and really was about to replace my teak deck. This stuff is amazing how much dirt and old teak oil it pulls out with just a little light scrubbing. It is the best teak cleaner I have every used. PArt B does a great job lightening the wood. My deck looks amazing.

My husband couldn't believe how great the furniture cleaned up and looked. The photo of the chair and ottoman shows results after cleaning and one coat of teak oil. I will add a few more coats of oil as the furniture was quite dried out and very thirsty! THe process is easy to do - just follow the directions. Worth every penny.

I have used other products in the past and wow is this stuff different. Part A was applied with an acid brush and brought up nasty, dark tar looking goop. I scrubbed around a couple more times, rinsed then applied Part B which began to bring the color up immediately. After drying a day the teak looks amazing.

Used on my 1983 Pearson for exterior teak, I also used TotalBoat Spar Varnish and it looks beautiful. The cleaner is sodium hydroxide and the neutralizer is acid, so it does eat away at the old wood - but so would sanding. The Varnish sealer and Varnish dries quickly - I did 1 coat sealer and 1 coat varnish the first day, and 1 coat varnish the second day. Victory declared - on to next project.
