## Description

The EVH D-Tuna is a unique patented device that enables players to drop the E to D and back, in an instant. D-Tuna has been standard equipment on Eddie Van Halen's personal guitars as well as signature series locking tremolo-equipped guitars since the early 90's. Since then thousands of D-Tuna's have been sold all over the world. Review: E to D as long as you have it set up right no issues - As long as it's set up right and you have a deck only Floyd Rose, it works perfect There is a fine set screw so make sure that your low string is set all the way up so your tuna can slide in and out without scraping the threads Took two times but it said perfect and it works every time I use it. It's been many months now. D to E no problem
Review: Freaking Amazing! - I’m very impressed with this system! It is very well engineered and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. As an example, the fine tuning grub screw on the device is angled so that is easily turned using the Allen key without worrying about hitting the trem or the body of the guitar. It is super easy to install and once you get it dialed in it’s amazingly easy to drop tunings to a D or C# and back again. I will say it took a lot of tweaking to get my drop D to be tuned perfectly. I had to make sure I tuned the D a few cents flat, because it would go a few cents sharp once I tightened down the locking nut. You can’t really fine tune the dropped tuning with the fine tuning screw or it scratches the heck out of the device and it is not easy or smooth to switch between tunings. Fine tuning the E is super easy using the Allen key. And since this is on a double locking trem, once you get it dialed in, it’s set. I’ve not had to tune it since installing a little over a week ago. One thing to remember is that if your tremolo is floating, you will need to install a trem stopper or black box or something to stop the trem from bending up. If you don’t, the d-tuna will not work.

**Q: Will this work on a left handed floyd?**
A: Yup!! I’m a lefty. Works great!

**Q: Does red part touch body of guitar**
A: It would depend on how you have your Floyd Rose setup and the guitar.  On my surface mount, it doesn't touch, but again, depends on your setup.

**Q: Will this work on a a telecaster type bridge?**
A: No this will not work on a tele type bridge. This is designed for a fluid Rose floating tremolo system.

**Q: Is there a reason why the Wolfgang Standard's dont come with these Standard?**
A: Because they are standard models.

As long as it's set up right and you have a deck only Floyd Rose, it works perfect There is a fine set screw so make sure that your low string is set all the way up so your tuna can slide in and out without scraping the threads Took two times but it said perfect and it works every time I use it. I’m very impressed with this system! It is very well engineered and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. It is super easy to install and once you get it dialed in it’s amazingly easy to drop tunings to a D or C# and back again. I will say it took a lot of tweaking to get my drop D to be tuned perfectly.
