**Q: Does this work with the D5600?  Thanks!**
A: If the D5600 runs on EL14 or EL 14a batteries then yes. If EL 14 or EL 14a is not one of your battery sizes then the answer is no.

**Q: The batteries from these camera are no where near this voltage and amperage.  Why is the power adapter such overkill? (54W)**
A: I don't really know but I think those are the maximum amounts that the charger/power supply can produce.  The camera will not draw anymore amps than is what is required for the camera.  If the camera only needs 1 amp to operate then it will only draw 1 amp from the power supply.   The battery is rated at 7.4 volts but the charger says it's 9 volts.  It's probably rated 9 volts with no load but once there is a load, such as a camera, it probably drops down to acceptable levels.  All I know is I've had my camera hooked up to it for several hours and have never had a problem.

**Q: Is this compatible with the Nikon 3200?**
A: I have a Nikon 3300 & 5300 - works perfectly!

This thing is 6 AMPS!! Way over-powered for any Nikon camera that fits the EL-14/ EL-14a batteries but hey, guess it's not bad to have an excess of power here :) If you do photogrammetry like I do (with multiple cameras), you can actually power up to 50 Nikon cameras with a SINGLE one of these! Since most Nikon cameras that accept EL-14/ EL-14a batteries only use around 0.11 amps. I just buy a couple of these and then a bunch of EL-14/ EL-14a couplers and splice them all together. Seems to power all of my cameras just fine. At that point though (powering 50 cameras on a single power supply) the power supply does start to get warm so I put mine in a case with fans to cool them down (other part in the photo is an arduino unit for controlling the cameras). You can also add a 9v DC surge protector to the output (and before the 50-coupler splice) to add an extra safety precaution/extra protection. That way if the power supply fails catastrophically, it won't kill any of the attached cameras. Anyway, these haven't failed me yet so 5/5! I just think price could be reduced by lowering the amount of power this thing provides. Could use a much smaller power supply for powering a single camera.
