By replacing standard methods of tying strings, the beads make changing strings much easier and faster while reducing wear and tear on the tie block. They can be used with virtually any classical guitar strings or type of bridge. In addition, when used with a standard six-hole bridge, the beads increase the break angle between the tie block and saddle to a similar degree as achieved with a twelve-hole bridge. The beads are well designed, small, lightweight, reasonably priced, and aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Total Game Changer! Love These... *by P***B on March 24, 2022* I have several guitars of various makes and models and styles. I decided I wanted a classical, so I bought a Cordoba Luthier Series C-10 Classical guitar.The guitar arrived in good condition and sounded very nice. However, this was short lived. Not even 2 weeks later the guitar was in its stand and I heard a 'pop!'. The low E string had unraveled just above the bridge. I figured that maybe the guitar had been shipped with old strings on it. I'm new to classical guitars, so I was somewhat shocked at how primitive the method of restringing was...tying a knot and then adding significant tension on an expensive guitar seems strange to me. But you do what you have to do I guess.I bought some new strings and looked at YT videos on changing strings, and while the process still seemed archaic, I was able to accomplish it. But 3 weeks later and "Pop!" the E string unraveled again. I'm guessing that there's some sort of small burr or rough spot in the bridge which is slowly cutting the string. Considering the price of the guitar, I was pretty disappointed to say the least.That's when I found the Rosette Diamond Secure Classical Guitar String Ties on Amazon. A few of the reviews I've read complain that you still have to tie the strings...which is sorta true. However, you don't have tie the string over the bridge anymore (which is a clumsy endeavor, for me at least). This is like adding a Ball End (the end of an acoustic guitar string which keeps the string from slipping through the bridge). You tie the strings to the String Ties, run the other end of the string through the bridge, and tie them to the tuning pegs. That's it. These make changing strings WAY WAY WAY faster and easier. I haven't experienced any string slippage (make sure you double knot the high E). Plus no more scraping the crap out of the face of the bridge by tying strings the old way. Basically, these allow you to string your classical just like you do with your acoustics.As for the unraveling E string I was experiencing, it's been 6-8 months since I bought these and I haven't had a single issue. The ease of stringing your classical guitar makes these a no brainer even if you don't have the unraveling problem that I did. My only knock on them is that for what they really are, they're a bit pricy. But not obscenely so.
