Very nice screw in holds
This is a great set of holds. They all feel more juggy than crimpy. The texture is very positive. I have a hang board attached to a 3/4” thick piece of plywood, and these holds attached nicely to that and give me a nice addition to my hangboard setup. In case it’s not clear, these holds are attached with wood screws (3 per hold) and use a drill bit that is included. You need a solid wood panel to install these holds on. Installation is quick and easy with a cordless drill. My only complaint is that the holds are all somewhat similar to each other. They are either a big jug or small jug in feel. Some real crimp holds and a foot chip or two would be a nice addition to the mix. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Come with GRK screws!
These seem like nice holds so far. Paid $50 after shipping for 10 holds compared to $40+shipping for 5 from Metolius. These came with #9x2inch GRK screws(hands down the best on the market) for install and even included a driver bit. So you could easily get longer or shorter GRK screws that would match up with the countersink in these. The countersinks in thes holds are of varying depths with varying thicknesses under the screw, so since I was installing on a 1.5inch thick plywood for a bunkbed ladder, I had to only use certain holds to keep from having screws poke through. I will buy shorter screws for the few thinner holds. They have a very different texture than the metolius holds. These are like super hard sponge with tiny voids or pockets, seems like it continues well into the body of the hold, whereas the metolius holds are only textured on the surface. Metolius are easier to clean and don't load up with skin and chalk as easy but the texture is gone when it wears off. Time will tell if these keep their texture as they wear.

Nice textured holds, feel professional
These holds are great, relatively small but big enough for a good grip. They have a nice texture just like the holds at a real rock gym. The screws that come with them are solid too.

Great value, great holds!
Love these holds! They are fun and very sturdy. My original packaging came with nine, so I contacted customer service and they sent me another one within two days. Great purchase!

Awesome starter hand holds!!
Just got these today and quickly installed them (as they come with the star had bit you need to screw them in with a cordless drill) on my kids basement bouldering cave. I tried them out my self as I weigh 185 lbs and they are sturdy as heck, especially if you have built the wall structure right like I have!

Short Pour 😔
I bought two sets so I could mirror some problems on my 45° and 60° home walls. I was pretty disappointed when I compared the sets and found Escape had short poured one of the sets making all of one set much more difficult than the other. It basically ruined the intent of buying these holds. Bummer Escape was running out of PU on the one set, wished they had better quality control. The short poured set should have been sold as factory seconds instead. Some of the smaller holds were thin around the screw holes, hopefully they won't crack when I pull hard on them. I enjoy Escape holds and haven't really experienced this issue in the past. I've set in four commercial gyms in the past 25 years and always enjoy setting and climbing with their holds. I'd recommend them to others, doubt you'll have the issue I did...the holds themselves are nice basic finger jugs to crimps. (Update: I'm not sure who at Escape is managing their Amazon store, I'm surprised nobody reached out to me after leaving my initial review a year and a half ago. Normally Escape is on the ball. Rita is always quick to reach out and answer any questions I've had or connect me with the people at Escape who could answer my questions. If I were you I would order directly through Escape's website rather than through Amazon. I'm still a bit irritated everytime I use these holds on my wall since one set is so much harder to use, but none of them have cracked yet.)

They're ok but pretty small
I weigh around 250 and have very large hands, so these arent beginner friendly for me. I thought they would be bigger, but now realize the picture in the description must be a very small child's hand. 2 of them are big enough for me to hang on to briefly, the rest are too small for now. I will try to progress by practicing hanging on the 2 bigger ones until I can manage the other ones, although that will probably take a while. The holds themselves are good quality and are easy to mount. Just wish holds for heavy beginners with large hands weren't so hard to find.
