A: As a seller of this CRKT knife, I did some research.  CRKT's website says  "CRKT is a family owned/operated company based in Tualatin, Oregon....We currently tap a global supply chain to meet consumer and market demands for manufacturing including, China, Taiwan, El Salvador, Italy, and the United States. All Quality Assurance takes place right here with our team in Oregon."   Googling "what knives are made in the US?" took me to a site where I used filters and found CRKT was not listed; using the same site but filtering for knives made in China, CRKT was listed.  More research took me to KnifeCenter.com, which carries the CRKT Compano in its catalog, which says:  "Specifications:
