I liked the fact that the 1 degree graduations were large enough for my 81 year old eyes to see.

The protractor I received had several circular knockouts etched in the plastic; one on the centerline crosshairs. Instead of using the knockouts I drilled a 1.5mm hole through the crosshair, which suits my drafting purposes. The plastic is sturdy enough.

I need this kind of protractor for my work. I just wish the 0 degrees was at the top and bottom and not on the sides. But I can still make it work.

Very high quality protractor. Nice thick ,durable plastic. I got the 8 inch version and what I really like is that it has the quadrant scale and the normal 360 scale. I use this for quadrant angles on land parcel maps.. will work with metes and bounds land descriptions. Has a thickness of .107 inch or 7/64

I needed a very large protractor to mark 5 degree lines on a large 30 inch wood circle for a mandala design. Small protractors could not give me the accuracy I needed. This did the job. Easy to read numbers and degree marks. Clear durable plastic.
