Cover FX Makeup Foundation Gripping Primer, Tighten & Firm Skin Complexion, 1 Fl Oz

I have been looking for a proper mattifying primer for MONTHS. I’ve tried high end ones thinking they must work for me since they have decent reviews... but no. I’m always left disappointed. I came across this and decided to try again to find something that works.. and lo and behold, my new favorite go-to primer! My face gets so oily very quickly. It’s so oily, I’m surprised America hasn’t tried to invade my forehead yet. I am constantly dabbing my face with toilet paper when I’m at work trying to blot out some of the oil spills. This WORKS. Just dab a tiny bit wherever you need it and rub in gently (a little goes a long way) Wait until it dries COMPLETELY before you apply any makeup (for me usually 3-5 minutes). And voila! You will be shine free almost the whole day (I won’t say ALL day bc there’s usually traces of shine after 8 hours of working in a hospital) Invest in this. I promise you won’t regret it! :)

I really love this primer! It’s light weight, easy to apply and feels hydrating. It’s not greasy or oily. When applied it soaks into your skin very easily. It makes my skin look more plump and healthy. I have combo skin and this primer worked great on both dry areas and oily t zone. It make my makeup go on better and I felt it did make it last a bit longer. I would repurchase. I will probably try the blurring one next out of curiosity.

I have used this brand for years but used to use the mattifying primer which I can’t find anymore. So I got this one instead and it unexpectedly actually cleared up some grittiness on my cheeks/jaw. It goes on thick but dries to be very light and feels like you’re wearing nothing under your makeup. Love it.

Since having to wear masks daily my acne returned. I tried multiple masks but the problem continued until I found Cover FX. It keeps the problem under control as it has a an acne agent in it. Non greasy and quickly dying I use it daily.
