PetSafe Bling Easy Walk Harness, Large, Purple

Well made. Wish it fit would have looked and probably worked great. Needed a size bigger. Ended up with another model of the same brand, not as sparkly, but it fit and it works well. it’s a quality brand.

Did not fit correctly

I am still trying to adjust it to be comfortable for my pup. I find the straps hard to adjust. The fabric is a bit stretchy and with the metallic threads it's awkward to move the fabric in the clasps. It easily gets twisted as I'm attempting to get it on a wiggly puppy. I do like that he doesn't pull as much. If the video didn't have a perfectly behaved, non-moving dog to show how to put it on it would be a bit more genuine.

Getting it sized correctly was a bit of a challenge, but once I got it right my 40 lb dog who thinks she’s a Rottweiler actually walked like a well trained dog. I will never go back to a collar. This really works!

I have one of these on my older dog and wanted one for my new pup. I love purple and thought this version would be fun. However with a long haired dog, the effect is lost as the lose hair sticks to it. I have Saint Bernards. For short, smooth coats you will be fine. But the collar itself works great and I highly recommend.

This harness is stunning but after a few hours of wearing it caused sores under my pugs armpits.

I love this harness for my 12lb mini Cockapoo, she didn’t pull excessively but she did walk faster than she should, I’d worry that her old harness was too close to her throat and gave her some discomfort but with this harness her pulling stopped immediately! She’d walk right alongside, at my pace and my young daughter can now walk her without feeling like she can’t control her. Also her hair is wavy/curly so I appreciate that this doesn’t flatten her hair or make her look funny when her hair is longer (dogs version of hat hair lol) I did have an issue with my first harness, after about a month of use one of the clips kept a undoing itself if she’d pull hard enough, she pulls but not hard, just out of excitement. I contacted the company directly and they were more than helpful, they replaced my harness without any issues. I also suggested that they bring this up to corporate because it seems like there’s a bad batch of small harnesses according to these reviews, they said of course they would. If you’re having an issue I suggest contacting them as well so you can enjoy the benefits of this harness.

Once I was introduced to an Easy Walk harness (now PetSafe), I have used nothing else. I especially like being able to hook leash on chest or on back. Chest reduces pulling; back is better with a rain coat. Or to a tether in a car. I have used the harnesses on an 80 pound giant poodle; a 30 pound and 40 pound standard poodle; and 45 pound Afghan.The harnesses run large. The medium is the best fit for the last three, but the buckles and fabric are not as substantial as the medium-large and larger.I ordered the medium "Bling" most recently for the Afghan. The buckles are so small that squeezing one open is not only difficult, but could be painful for arthritic fingers. As one might expect, the long hair gets caught a bit in the bling.That said, all of the children in the neighborhood love the purple sparkles. I do, too!

Of all the collars and harnesses out there, I loved this harness not only for the comfort of my dog but also that it looks lovely on her. She's a tough american cocker spaniel and loves to pull when on hikes and I need to keep her on a leash. But this harness helps so she doesn't pull too hard and even if she does it's not causing her to hurt herself. I've washed the harness a few times already and it's not lost the sparkles or the sturdy structure (the sparkles are part of the thread woven in the ribbon webbing so will last). Was apprehensive of the plastic buckles but they are quite strong.All in all, great purchase and the price is understandable for the quality you're getting.
