Works fast and as well as name brand allergy meds.
My sons and I all have seasonal allergies and this year, they are out of control. I can't take a decongestant so I am pretty much stuck with just a handful of medications to help my allergies. My adult sons prefer not to take decongestants so we were all looking for an alternative to Benadryl which works but makes us feel tired. Loratadine is inexpensive and doesn't contain a decongestant. I was skeptical that it was truly non drowsy but I don't feel as tired when I take this as I do with Benedryl. It clears up my watery eyes and nose and stops me from sneezing. It works great for my sons as well. They don't feel sleepy or drowsy when they take this medication as prescribed. Although both Benadryl and Loratadine are antihistamines, this one seems to invoke far less drowsiness. I don't know why but I am happy about that. It doesn't cause any shakiness or rapid heartbeats like decongestants can. It works for us. If the allergy is really severe, my sons use a decongestant as well. I just suffer through it so as not to cause my heart to go nuts. I will keep this in the house at all times. It works, the pills are super easy to swallow, and it is inexpensive. Just as good as name brand allergy meds.

Screams cheapness
I just wanted a little bottle of cheap off brand Claritin to last me a while, and I feel like “cheap” is the best word to describe these. The pills are chalky and leave white residue on my fingers. I take one and give my dog half of one each day, and they seem to work well for our mild outdoor allergies.

I was pleasantly surprised to be able to purchase the quantity for such a reasonable price. I have purchased this from the local box store and the price is the same for just 10 pills. I have to use these daily and I take one right before I go to bed. They work great.
