A delightful book written for pre-teens but easily enjoyable by adults. Melody wants her father to remarry. Mo is a dog who wants a home. The author captures the struggles of each through Melody's interactions with her father, her good friend Nick and a nosy, annoying 6-year old neighbor. This book had a "finding yourself" message to it that made it simply magical! The only bad thing about this book is that it's so short. I read it in a day, but loved every page. Sarah Weeks did not disappoint!
