Helped my deadlift go up 10-20#, and doesn't kick up into the air. My gym prohibits dry chalk, but this is allowed. It will leave chalk on your clothes (washes off, but if you wear dark colors, you'll probably get hand prints on your pants, etc), but it does not make big clouds of dust. My only complaint about this product is that it does have a strong fragrance.
