Retired the Fuji hoods that came with lenses
I took a chance on this and was happy to find this product to be excellent. The materials, fit and finish are first class. The hood goes on with the standard 90 degree twist and comes to rest precisely in alignment with the camera body. Unlike some square hoods that come with a fragile slide-in cap that can break and be rendered useless, this hood has a felt lined metal cap that conforms exactly to the hood and is very secure when installed. Additionally, if you wish, you can just use the Fujifilm snap on cap that came with the lens- it is easy to install and remove with hood mounted. It's nice to have options. Bottom line: I have both the 23mm and 35mm Fujicrons and just figured that I'd keep swapping the hood back and forth. The hood and cap are so nice that I immediately ordered a second so that both of my lenses can have one permanently mounted.

Nice Addition to the 23mm F2
Ordered this to go on my FUJI 23mm F2 lens. It is probably the third Haoge lens cap I have purchased for various lenses. As always, it is well made (metal), fits perfectly on the lens, and offers a level of protection for the front lens element that cannot be found on the normally included (round) lens hood for this model. Very pleased with the purchase and great value for the price.

Nice lens hood that doesn't break my childhood piggy bank!
Haoge offered another square lens hood that I immediately bought for my 35mm Fujicron, and I just so happened to stumble upon this lens hood in the process. So, I bought this one for my 23mm Fujicronut. Mated to my ever-so-elegante X-Pro Deuce, I can finally go out and shoot without the fear of the always annoying Karens of outdoor photography. . . lens flares. The construction is all metal. The bayonet mount is nice and secure. And the friction lens hood is a nice touch only elite world travelling entrepreneurs would come to love (. . . jk, you can enjoy it too if you like). I have to say that I'm very happy with my purchase. 10 baby koalas out of 10.

Alright hood.
Mounting is plastic, which molded to aluminum hood. My copy came crooked, loping on one side. Finish is good. The weight is on the heavy side for what it is. Cap is friction fit and useless. Makes the hood even heavier.
