Absolutely top notch. I have used all the versions 1, 2, 3 and 4 and this is version is extremely well made. Be mindful of the full length of the mated fitting - it's long. Zero drips and very easy to attach the tubing with the long barb and compression screw. A+ design and heavy weight, durable materials.

Garbage the ppl plastic will melt if you use anything but koolance coolant

First of all, who has a 1 inch wrench that is not a mechanic? Second of all, Using a wrench with a cloth scratched the hell out of these. I was careful and it still looks like crap. The coating is very weak.

These quick disconnects are really a time saver. There are reports that the black plating does not hold up well over over time and causes scaling issues on the quick disconnects. Will have to report back later after this has run in the loop for a while.
