Hey chocolate lover! At Ombar we’re on a mission... to change the way we all think about chocolate. You see the humble cacao bean – that all chocolate is made from – is actually a power-packed, nutrient-dense superfood with a ton of health benefits. Well, we want to make chocolate that can be appreciated for this super status. That’s why we do things differently… No roasting for us, we craft at low temperatures to protect the heat sensitive cacao polyphenols (healthy plant compounds). Super good. We buy cacao directly from farmer’s co-ops in Ecuador, paying more than the fair trade recommended price. Super ethical. We add carefully considered, organic ingredients to make rich, indulgent chocolate. Super tasty. After all, if you’re going to make something, you might as well make it super, right? And this is why we like to call Ombar...Super Chocolate!
