Alkalol Solution Original Nasal Wash, 16 fl oz (pack of 3)

Over the last 3 weeks I have just had 2 sinus infections with 2 different antibiotics and today my Dr. said I still had the infection so now I have a 3rd antibiotic. Have been using my nasal fresh electric flush very successfully the entire time but after seeing the Dr, decided to try the Alkolol rinse along with the salt/baking soda mix and WOW it worked great. Even reduced the slight stinging of the saline solution and it got rid of the "false" smoke smell I have had for weeks. Won't include the gory details but it worked MUCH better loosening and clearing out mucus that I still had; I was totally surprised and pleased. I'm a customer. I only used 1 Tsp of Alkolol per 300ml water/saline mix and it was very pleasant. I would give it a 10 if rating went that high.

OMG. Something that works. I get sinusitis 3 times a year. My new ENT has prescribed a solution to add to my rinse. It barely helps. I have several expensive sinus rinse units. I added this with the Neilmed Sinugator. My sinus are clear, feel great and I can breath. I sent my daughter some today. I am amazed. If you are tired of sinusitis, give this a try. I only added one teaspoon along with the neilmed salt rinse with xylitol.

Well this is a game changer at a bargain price. I’ll be stocking up. I suffer from seasonal allergies and am always stuffed up. I added this full strenth to a nasal spray bottle and used a few sprays a few times a day ..it helps with dry nose and opens my sinus. It dint burn my nose at all, but def follow bottles directions. We also use it as am out wash throat gargle..we dilute about a tbsp with a tbsp water …gargle and swish, spit out. ( do not swallow) good for gums and mucus in throat too. I will be a customer!

I usually don't write reviews but this product improved my quality of life enough that I felt compelled to share my results. Late November/early December every year my sinuses stop up like clockwork and everyone knows how miserable that is. It's not allergy related either so those meds don't help. Over the years I have used saline rinses which do help somewhat but not to the degree I would like. A colleague recommended Alkalol to me and it has made a noticeable difference from using just saline rinses. Everyone uses different methods and products but here is what works for me. I use a hand held battery powered rinser from itherau that is available on Amazon at a reasonable cost. It's the kind that you hold up to one nostril and the gunk flows out of the other. It has 3 different settings depending on how strong you want the flow to be. I use it in the shower so I don't have to worry about the mess or holding my head over the sink at a weird angle. I use 8 ounces of warm distilled water, one saline packet, and two teaspoons of alkalol per rinse. I rinse one side and then repeat the process with the other nostril. I have the second 8 oz. mixture ready to go so i don't have to stop the shower and fix up another mixture. I just pour it into the empty itherau and do the second rinse.The itherau holds about 10oz. so that's how I have to do it. The extra amount of mucous it was washing out compared to just the saline rinse was instantly noticeable. When i first received the alkalol I did this twice a day. Once in the morning and then again about an hour before bedtime. I did this for 3 days but now only have to do it once a day in the evening because the results have been so positive. It has been a game changer for me. I can breathe freely and the biggest plus has been that i can finally get a good nights sleep which is crucial. After just a couple of days my wife even noticed how much more soundly I was sleeping without having to constantly get up to blow my nose or be snorting and sniffling all night which affected her sleep too so she is a big fan also. Sleeping in a separate room was on the table so I'm really glad this product has worked for me and i hope if you use it you will get some relief too. Please use distilled or previously boiled water because you do not want any extra germs or bacteria being shot into your sinuses. Using warm water helps loosen the mucous too not to mention how uncomfortable it is to shoot cold water up your nose! You can adjust the amount of alkalol to your liking too. The 2 teaspoons per 8oz. of water that I use is considered the medium dose and has worked well for me. Everyone has their own definition of affordable but three 16oz. bottles for $20 seemed very reasonable to me considering the relief it has given me and how little you have to use for it to be effective. I discovered this over 10 years ago. Wow! Really, really helps me avoid sinus infections. I used to constantly get sinus iinfections. I use this full strength 4 times a week and in these past 10 years, I have only had one minor sinus infection that went away quickly as I missed a week of using Alkalol while I was out of the country. I have told many people about this over the years and most if norms all have advised me it works and thanked me. This is great stuff!

Works quite well. So much better than just using saline alone. Saline packs and distilled water just didn't do much. I found saline with eucalyptus in a can that helped a little. Adding this to the saline packs and distilled water made a huge improvement. It helped me a lot. This is a highly recommended add for anyone dealing with allergies or excess mucus on a regular day to day basis. I feel almost human again.

This was recommended to me 15 years ago by an ENT, and I've used it ever since. It facilitates removing nasal mucus, and helps lubricate my nasals. I ordered and the next day received the 3.

I use this with the Navage nasal machine thing to power washer my brain! I used this by itself first time, what could go wrong? Well....I didn't invite Satan to travel through my nasal passage so close to my brain, but it did anyway! It burns, it burns in a way that will make you question why you keep ordering and using it!!! Am I a masochist? Probably after using it, but I used what little was left of my brain to dilute it with some filtered water, like 50:50. Still burns, but more like your best friend "helping" you meet a girl at a bar who isn't into you. Are they ever? Nah, it is another masochistic endeavor on this road of life. This really does help with infections, pollen allergies, crabs, fleas, and probably little angels hiding in your nasal cavity by burning it all down. Why you have bugs or crabs? I don't pry into your life, don't pry into mine.

I have had sinus issues for years, I am now in my mid sixties and continue to self manage. Using this Alkalol has been most useful, being used with my electric sinus rinse machine. It feels so refreshing when done, and, it seems, helps very much to break down the very thickened mucous that can be otherwise so difficult to shift. It is expensive and so I save this for when a cold or other sinus congestions seem to be beyond that of regular rinsing. Although it can mean one full bottle is used for each occasion, at least it then has made a very big difference when there seems, at times, so little else to be effective. Overall I VERY much recommend this type of rinse. I simply would not be without it to be used when things are going a little bad. If you do try it, I use it around three times a day and the relief and help is almost immediate. It does take a couple of days for me for the mucous to be breaking up. So, excellent, very effective and does not cause irritation. Cooling effect felt and does open up the airways. All the best with your sinus care journey, I know how hard it can be.
