We were able to do 2 adults 1 child and an infants hand and it turned out pretty well.

Tedious Process but the results are worth it
Take your time and read the instructions thoroughly with this one. There is no going back if you don't follow instructions properly. The end result is such a wonderful keepsake. Just know that it will not be perfect. There will be slight imperfections. I would recommend watching a youtube video beforehand.
